Michelle E. (Sheriff) Burnette

Michelle E. (Sheriff) Burnette, age 45, of Owings Mills, MD, passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
She was born July 17, 1971 in Carlisle, PA to Harry and Joan (Stambaugh) Sheriff of Boiling Springs.
Michelle was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School and Towson State University. She was an office manager at the CTY division of Johns Hopkins University. She attended Second Presbyterian Church, Carlisle and studied dance and theatre in college. She was a past member of the Central PA Youth Ballet. Michelle was a woman who enjoyed life and loved traveling with her family.
In addition to her parents, Michelle is survived by a son, Justin T. Burnette of Owings Mills, MD.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Dr. Jeffrey W. Gibelius officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Churchtown, PA. There will be a viewing from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Second Presbyterian Church, 528 Garland Drive, Carlisle, PA 17013.
