Michael Eichelberger

Michael Eichelberger, 60, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born July 11, 1953 in Chambersburg, a son of the late James P. and Betty Hockenberry Eichelberger.
He was a foreman for Rose Metal Systems, and a laborer for Excel Logistics. Also a former member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 1299, Carlisle. He loved to go camping, fishing, and loved his dog, Bruno. Michael was a US Marine Corp veteran.
Surviving are his wife of twenty-four years, Sharon Eichelberger of Carlisle; two sons, Miles Eichelberger of Carlisle and Travis Eichelberger of Frederick, MD; one daughter, Amy Martin of Mt. Holly Springs; two sisters, Pat Shannon (and husband, Gary) of Carlisle and Jackie; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Betty Hockenberry Eichelberger and father James P. Eichelberger.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating.
