Mary R. Miller

Mary R. Miller, 75, of Carlisle died Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at her home.
Born October 26, 1938 in Plainfield, she was a daughter of the late Maude Wilson and the widow of Glenn Edward Miller, Sr.
She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle. Mary was very devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson.
Surviving are two daughters, Robin Ann Orner (and husband, Sam) and Hope Lynn Miller (and husband, Taylor) both of Carlisle; one son, Glenn E. Miller, Jr. of Carlisle; one brother, Irwin Richard Skelly of Carlisle; one sister, Betty Jumper of Carlisle; six grandchildren, Jeff Miller, Michelle Snyder, Emily Orner, Amanda Shumberger, Megan Slusser and Andrew Orner; and one great-grandson, Adam E. Miller. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Velma Lauver, Jean Jumper, Phyllis Kulla and two brothers, Gerald and Sonny Skelly.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Jean N. Kuebler officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, Brick Church Road, Newville. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
