Mary L. Doebler, 84, of Carlisle, died Friday, February 6, 2015 at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on January 6, 1932 in Conway, NC to the late Clifton P. and Bernice Dunning Burgess and was the widow of Ralph S. Doebler.
Mary was retired from the housekeeping department at Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg and was a member of St. Matthews United Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, Steven (and wife Joyce) Doebler of Gardners and Rick (and Deb Cook) Doebler of Montgomery, PA; a sister Lynn Lee of Williamston, NC; three brothers William Burgess of Fredericksburg, VA and Leon Burgess of Conway, NC and Troy Burgess of Murfreesboro, NC; three grandchildren, Ashley (and husband Roger) Nace, Abby Doebler and Jason Doebler; two great- grandchildren, Emma and Hunter Nace; also step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Terry S. Doebler.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, 219 N. Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Timothy Dugan officiating. There will be a visitation from 4:00-6:00 p.m. prior to the services.
