Mary E. Ranson

Mary E. Ranson, 74 of Carlisle, died Friday July 25, 2014 in the Holy Spirit Hospital.
Born July 28, 1939 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Arthur H. and Estella Smith Davis and the widow of London Lee Ranson.
Surviving are her significant other of 35 years, Willie Merriweather, a son Stacey Ranson and his significant other, Angie Bailey, Carlisle, a sister, Betty Jane Davis, Carlisle, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by a son, Brian K. Davis, two brothers, George W. Davis and Thomas L. Davis Sr., and a sister, Evelyn E. Thompson.
Services will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, August 1, 2014 in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home and Crematory, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle with the Rev. Walter R. Reed officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 3:00-4:00 pm Friday until the time of service in the funeral home.
