Marjorie B. Webster, 87, of Carlisle died Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.

Born April 22, 1924, in Athens, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Elton and Sibyl Macafee Brennan and widow of Albert J. Webster.

She attended Nyack College in Nyack, N.Y. Marjorie was a faithful disciple of Christ and a co-worker in ministry with her husband. She lived her life by the faith she professed and passed her faith on by her example and her words.

Surviving are her son, the Rev. Timothy Webster of Waxhaw, N.C.; two daughters, LaVonne Mackey of Melrose, Fla., and Esther Barajikian of Lansdowne, Md.; a sister, Sibyl Slagle of LaGrange, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Timothy Brennan; one son, the Rev. Paul Marvin Webster; and one sister, Leone Stone.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 3, at Chapel Pointe at Carlisle, 770 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Walter L. Frankenberry officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chapel Pointe Benevolent Fund, 770 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, PA 17013.
