Marguerite Gale

Marguerite “Peg” Gale, 91, of Carlisle, died Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Chapel Point at Carlisle.
Born April 4, 1921 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Willis R. and Mabel Brought Wierman and the widow of William F. Gale.
She volunteered for the Carlisle Hospital. Marguerite was an active member of First United Methodist Church, Carlisle.
Surviving are one daughter, Susan Snyder (and husband, J. Michael) of Carlisle; three grandchildren, W. Brian Snyder, Melinda Mathis (and husband, Jermaine), and Robin Snyder, all of Rochester, NY; and four great-grandchildren.
There will be a brief time of remembrance during the regular evening services at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Chapel Point at Carlisle, with Rev. Walter L. Frankenberry officiating. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Chapel Point at Carlisle, 770 South Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA 17013.
