Madeline G. Foltz

Madeline G. Foltz, 78, of Carlisle went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.
Born December 29, 1932 in Carlisle Springs, she was a daughter of the late Ross Sylvester and Agnes Steimling Baum and the widow of Robert L. Foltz to whom she was married for 51 years.
She worked for P. R. Hoffman, Carlisle Shoe Factory, Woolco and Millers Auto Supply. She was also self-employed as a house cleaner. Madeline attended the Brethren in Christ Church, Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle. She loved cooking and working in her yard. Madeline loved being mother and grandmother to her family.
She will be sadly missed by her loving son, Robert Foltz, Jr. (and wife, Kim) of Carlisle, two grandchildren, Marcy Foltz and Tori Gardner Foltz both of Carlisle and one brother, Maynard Baum of Carlisle. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Marcy Foltz and brothers and sisters, Arthur Baum, Lillian O’Brien, Herman Baum, and Gladys Swope.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Timothy D. Keller officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
