Lois Ann Rausch

Lois Ann Rausch, 78, formerly of Carlisle, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence.
Born November 27, 1932 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Sara Black Ritter and the widow of John L. Rausch.
She was formerly employed by the Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg as a Registered Nurse. She was a graduate of Camp Hill High School, Class of 1950.  Lois attended Marjorie Webster College in Washington, D.C. and Harrisburg Area Community College. 
Surviving are two sons, John L. Rausch (and companion, Stacey Chesnut) of Mechanicsburg and Greg Rausch (and wife, Lauren) of Wormleysburg, one daughter, Amy S. Rausch of Carlisle, one sister, Marti Tate of Carlisle, three grandchildren, Madison and Sara Rausch and Joseph Kapp, one nephew, Dr. Wade Crum of Warren, one niece, Julie Holloway (and husband, Mark) of South Carolina and best friend, Janet Hartman of New Cumberland.  Also, her dog, Hof.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lynn Dee Regan.
Graveside services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family officiated by Dave Cochran, one of Lois’s caregivers.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
