Linwood Lee Lloyd

Linwood Lee "Butch" Lloyd, Jr., age 75, of Carlisle, passed away October 28, 2016 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 31, 1941 in Carlisle to the late Linwood and Leora Christine (Alspaugh) Lloyd.
Linwood's family and friends will remember him as a happy man. He always told his friends and family as they were leaving, "watch the ice." Linwood worked as a courier at the Carlisle Barracks, as a truck driver, and later a painter.
He is survived by his companion of 46 years, Annie Labreveux "Nouse", of Carlisle; 2 daughters, Jacqueline Lee (and husband Dave) Evans, of West Chester, OH, and Stacey (and husband Thomas) Stine of Hebron, KY; 1 son, Emilen Guillemin of France; 2 grandchildren, Megan and David Evans, and all of his family and friends in France. In addition to his parents, Linwood was preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine Wonders, and Harold Weibly and Romaine White who raised him.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Bible Brethren Church with Minister Harvey B. Hill, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Bible Brethren Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Linwood to Bible Brethren Church, 7600 Wertzville Road, Carlisle, PA to Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, to help defray the funeral costs.
