Linda "Kay" Crum

Linda “Kay” Crum, age 77, of Carlisle, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle with her loving family by her side.
She was born April 28, 1940 in Carlisle to the late Joseph and Helen (Bishop) Miller.
Kay was a 1958 graduate of Carlisle High School, formerly employed by JC Penney and retired as the manager of the Hallmark Store at the MJ Mall in Carlisle. She enjoyed dining out, record keeping and NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and swimming with her grandchildren. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Carlisle and a past member of the Mt. Holly Springs Golden Age Club. Kay was a great homemaker but most of all, she loved spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by: her husband of 26 years, John B. Crum, Jr. of Carlisle; a son, James A. Gehr of Carlisle; a daughter, Kimber Lea Gehr of Frederick, MD; a step-son, Alan B. Crum of Shippensburg; a step-daughter, Ann L. (husband Steven L.) Lynes of Dillsburg; a brother, Joseph (wife Victoria) Miller of Plainfield; a daughter-in-law, Christine Gehr of Mechanicsburg; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Virginia Crum.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church, 2A N. Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Anthony D. Lorenz officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle. There will be a viewing at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services.
