Lena Elizabeth Gsell

Lena Elizabeth Gsell, 88, of Duncannon, died Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born November 5, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Bruce and Elvina Jones Helm.
Lena liked to read and do crossword puzzles and liked to cook. She loved to be with her family, cooking and get togethers with the whole family.
Surviving are six kids, Carolyn (and husband, Bud) Hollingsworth, John (and wife, Patty) Gsell, Carl F. (and wife, Valerie) Gsell, Randy (and wife Cathy) Gsell, Brenda (and husband, Clarence “Ed”) Stone, and Christine (and husband, Tim) Snow; one sister, Lydia Bell Durff of Walnut Bottom, one brother, Donald Helm; fourteen grandkids; and twenty-six great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl E. Gsell, son Bradley S. Gsell, and grandson Carl E. Gsell II.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. David White officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
