Kathryn M. Durham

Kathryn M. Durham, age 91, of Carlisle, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Claremont Nursing & Rehab Center.
She was born March 3, 1926 in Carlisle to the late John and Mary (Herr) Brownawell and was the widow of Earl E. Durham, Sr. who passed November 28, 1981.
Kathryn retired from the former Sticks Potato Chips in Carlisle. She liked to work in her flower gardens, create ceramics, traveling and she loved the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by: her grandson, Robert E. Jr. (wife Laurie) Durham of Carlisle; a granddaughter, Tammy S. (husband Mark) Kitner of Dillsburg; a sister, Betty Thompson of Carlisle; three great-grandchildren, Ashley, Stephanie and John; and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Kathryn was preceded in death by a son, Robert E. Durham, Sr. and wife Joyce E. Durham and three brothers, Johnnie, Donnie, and Charles Brownawell.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. There will not be a visitation or viewing.
