Joyce Anna Swavola

Joyce Anna Swavola, 55, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at her home.
Born July 24, 1955 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of Violet E. Kotzmoyer Reed and the late George Reed.
She was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of 1973. She was a supply analyst for the US Naval Depot, Mechanicsburg. She attended of the Christian Life Assembly, Camp Hill.
Surviving in addition to her mother are two daughters: Jill E. Beam of Mechanicsburg and Katherine Swavola of Carlisle; one brother, Robert E. Reed, U.S.N. (Ret.) of Virginia Beach, VA; two grandsons: Zachary Beam and Joaquin Swavola; and two nephews: Robert E. Reed II (and wife, Megan) and their three children and Michael C. Reed (and wife, Lindsey) and their daughter, both of Virginia Beach, VA.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Kenneth Beach officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
