Jonathan D. Orner

Jonathan D. Orner, age 32, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at his residence.
He was born in Carlisle on September 24, 1983 to Jack R. Orner and Linda M. Stetson Orner.
Jonathan was a 2002 graduate of Boiling Springs High School and worked in the Information Technology field. He was a passionate sports fan, especially loved the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies and he was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his parents, Linda M. Orner of Mechanicsburg and Jack R. Orner of Carlisle; a brother, Jeff (and wife Randeen) Orner of Mt. Joy; a sister, Kaitlin Orner of Philadelphia; a niece and nephew, Alicia and Andrew of Mt. Joy; maternal grandfather, David P. Stetson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Dorothy E. Stetson and his paternal grandparents, Charles M. and Betty M. Orner.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Pastor Shad Baker officiating. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the services.
