John Wesley Griffith, Jr.

John Wesley Griffith, Jr., 57, of Carlisle, died Saturday, June 1, 2013 at his home.
Born December 10, 1955 in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late John Wesley and Margaret Kirk Strong Griffith.
He was a 1973 graduate of Central Dauphin High School and a graduate of Penn State University, Class of 1977 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. John was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his sister, Janda Kirk Panitz (and husband, John) of Sandia Park, NM and several cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jenni Lee Griffith.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Grace United Methodist Church, 45 West Street, Carlisle with Rev. James E. VanZandt officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
