John E. Bachowsky

John E. Bachowsky, 80, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the Homeland Center, Harrisburg.
He was born November 30, 1938 in Philadelphia to the late Dimitri and Florence (Franks) Bachowsky.
John was a 1956 graduate of Northeast High School in Philadelphia. He was a talented woodworker and a car enthusiast. John worked as a journeyman repairman and a journeyman machinist for General Motors. He honorably served his country in the US Army as a Green Beret during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Peter Bachowsky and one sister, Dorthea Bachowsky.
A memorial service celebrating John’s life will be private and held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
