Joanne M. Dunn

Joanne Mitchell Dunn, age 86 years, of Carlisle, PA died Sunday July 14, 2019 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle, PA with her loving family by her side.
She was born September 18, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late John and Marie Jeffers Mitchell.
Joanne was a homemaker, raising her five children. She was a graduate of Mt. Mercy Academy in Pittsburgh, and a member of St. Patrick Catholic church in Carlisle. She was a history buff of the Gettysburg battlefield. Family and friends meant the most to her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Richard T. Dunn of Carlisle two daughters, Pamela M. (husband Michael) Haupt of Carlisle, Laura E. (husband John) Sheehan of East Greenville, PA; two sons, Timothy (wife Michelle) Dunn of Pleasant Hills, and Brian (wife Jacqueline) Dunn of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Dunn and brother, Jack Mitchell.
A private Christian Wake Service will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, PA with the Rev. Father Donald H. Bender officiating. Private interment will be held in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray, PA.
