Jane E. Long

Jane E. Long, 85, of Carlisle, formerly of Moyock, NC died Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born January 6, 1926 in Winston-Salem, NC, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Velda Baker Pope and the widow of James E. Long.
Surviving are two daughters, Terry R. Wilson (and husband, Curtis) of Carlisle and Elizabeth C. Kidd (and husband, Tommy) of Baton Rouge, LA, three sons, Robert Farrell of Carlisle, Edward Farrell of Winchester, VA and Robert J. Long of NC, one sister, Wanda Rowley of Chesapeake, VA, one brother, Charles A. Pope, Jr. of FL, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Kathleen Pope.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2011 at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1924 Ritner Highway, Carlisle.
