James Petrou

James “Speedyâ€Â Petrou, 65, of Carlisle, died Monday, June 27, 2011 at the Harrisburg Hospital.
Born April 26, 1946 in Altoona, he was a son of the late Gust and Harriet Kothos Petrou.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Nancy Petrou of Carlisle, two sons, James Petrou of Bedford and Craig Petrou of Harrisburg, one daughter, Miranda Petrou of Carlisle, five grandchildren, Arianna, Johnathan, Tyler, Stephen and Gianna and one brother, George Petrou of Altoona.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2011 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Patti Hoover Victory officiating. Entombment will be in Westminster Mausoleum, 1159 Newville Road, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the funeral home and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
