James G. Gallo

James G. Gallo, age 58, of Carlisle, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the PinnacleHealth West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg.
He was born August 10, 1959 in Carlisle to the late James Stouffer and Margie (Gallo) Collins and was the widower of Shirley M. (Reinard) Gallo who passed February 23, 2016.
James will be remembered as a fun-loving man with a great sense of humor. He loved rock and roll music. He worked his entire life as a painting contractor.
He is survived by: two sons, James G. II (wife Kelly) Gallo of Carlisle and Justin M. Gallo of Shippensburg; one daughter, Kari King of Tampa, FL; one sister, Terena (husband Tracy) Shannon of Carlisle; one brother, Jerry Gallo of Grand Rapids, MI; and six grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, James was preceded in death by a sister.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at South Mountain American Legion, Post 674, 601 West Pine Street, Mt. Holly Springs, PA.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA.
