Helen Charmaine Wise

Helen Charmaine Wise, age 79, of Carlisle, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 23, 2017.
She was born June 28, 1937 in Carlisle to the late Charles and Helen (Heberlig) Reeder.
Charmaine attended Boiling Springs High School and was a member of Barnitz United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, going to the beach, reading and feeding her birds and squirrels.
She is survived by: her husband of 60 years, Cletus L. Wise, Sr. of Carlisle; four children, Jodie K. (and husband Greg) Fuller of Ickesburg; Cletus L. Wise, Jr. of Newville, Scott A. (and wife Colleen) Wise of Carlisle and Steven L. (and wife Shelly) Wise of Shippensburg; nine grandchildren, Brandon Fuller, Dawn Mitten, Calli Kyle, Derek, Emily, Owen, Tucker and Leo Wise; four great-grandchildren, Rylee and Gavin Fuller and Kaylin and Avarie Mitten; two sisters, Gwen Sunday and Glae Coyle; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Charmaine was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald and Jack Reeder.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Matthew Plant officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
