H. Carroll Eshenour

H. Carroll Eshenour, 70, of Carlisle, died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at his home.
Born August 25, 1942 in Greason, he was a son of the late Howard Shutt and Edna Stouffer Eshenour.
He was employed by Piezo Crystal for thirty-nine years as a supervisor and retired from New Cumberland Army Depot after five years. He was a member of the Purple Martin Society. He was a life-long member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking. Carroll loved his family and his dogs.
Surviving are his wife of fifty years, Beverly Eshenour of Carlisle; three sons, Jeffrey Eshenour (and wife, Laurie) of Carlisle, Daniel Eshenour (and wife, Teresa) of Newville, and Douglas Eshenour (and wife, Jodee) of Carlisle; one brother, Harry Eshenour (and wife, Joan) of Carlisle; four sisters, Freda Jones of Carlisle, Caroline Wise ( and husband, Paul) of Delaware, Pearl Trego (and husband, Harold) of Carlisle, and Andrea Keck (and husband, Lester) of Carlisle; six grandchildren, Amanda Zimmerman (and husband, Kyle) of Upper Strasburg, Cody Eshenour (and wife, Angela) of Shippensburg, Isaac Eshenour of Newville, Tanner Eshenour of Carlisle, Jacob Eshenour of Newville, and Adam Eshenour of Newville; and one great-grandson, Andrew Eshenour, who is the son of Cody and Angela.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 East High Street, Carlisle with Rev. Lisa M. Leber officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Garden, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle and on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
