Gwendolyn (Gwen) E. Shiley

Gwendolyn "Gwen" E. Gordon Shiley, 39, of Marysville, died Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born October 31, 1975 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of Barry A. Gordon and Ronda F. Putney.
She was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of 1993, where she lettered for four years in soccer. She was a graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan College with a B. S. in Criminal Justice and also lettered four years in soccer. She was a former member of the US Coast Guard. She was employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation. She loved all types of sports and her pets, but most of all her love for her nephew, Campbell.
Surviving are her loving husband, Christopher E. Shiley of Marysville; Her father, Barry A. Gordon (wife, Diane) of Carlisle; mother, Ronda F. Putney of Carlisle; mother and father-in-law, Audrey A. Aungst and Wesley Cohick of Mechanicsburg; a brother Ryan Gordon (wife, Starr) and their son, Campbell of Carlisle; a sister-in-law, Melissa A. Baker of Harrisburg; maternal grandmother, Beatrice Shearer of Carlisle; and paternal grandmother, Fern Gordon of Carlisle. There are many loving members of her extended family.
Celebration of Life services were held at the convenience of the family.
