Glenn R. Adams

Glenn R. Adams, 84, of Carlisle died Monday, February 13, 2012 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born November 29, 1927 in Perry County, he was the son of the late E. Howard and Elizabeth Messimer Adams.
He retired after 46 ½ years at Carlisle Tire and Wheel. Early in his life, Glenn was a gifted builder and successful developer. He was a very loving and devoted family man.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Margie M. Adams of Carlisle; two sons, Glenn R. Adams, Jr. (and wife, Crystal) of The Villages, FL and Donald E. Adams (his wife, Cathy) of Windsor, IL; three grandsons, Brian Adams (and wife, Cheryl) of Carlisle, Craig Adams (and wife, Tamara) of Palmyra and Cory Adams of Madison, WI; and one sister, Vera Madison of Carlisle. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 17, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Daniel R. Mikesell officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2012 and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
