Garnet Ray Martin

Garnet Ray Martin, age 90, of Carlisle, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle,
He was born August 31, 1925 in Chambersburg to the late Forrest and Myra Moats Martin.
Garnet was a master plumber formerly employed by Leonard's Plumbing Co. and Jeff Austin's Construction Co, both of Carlisle.
Ray is survived by a brother, Wilbur (and wife Shirley) Martin of Carlisle and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Doris M. Nickey and Peg Ilgenfritz.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle with Chaplain Bradley Moore officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of God Home, 801 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, PA 17013.
