Freddy G. Paulus

Freddy G. Paulus, 72, of Shermans Dale, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Manor at Perry Village, New Bloomfield.
Freddy was born on January 8, 1942 in Carroll Township to the late John H. and Matilda Maude (Morton) Paulus.
Freddy retired from Service First, Mechanicsburg as a carpenter. He enjoyed woodworking, chainsaw carvings and making canes. Freddy had his own sawmill where he enjoyed working on and tinkering with his projects. Most of all, he enjoyed the time he spent with his loving wife Anna and his family.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Anna M. (Smee) Paulus, 2 sons; Fred A. (and wife Michelle) Paulus, of Fairfield and Trevis R. (and wife Rebecca) Paulus of Shermans Dale, one daughter; Miranda (and husband David) Johnston of Mechanicsburg, six grandchildren; Tarashay, Hunter, Autumn, Brenna, Julian, and Kennedy and three great-grandchildren; Hope, Cali and Rowan.
He was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 6 sisters.
A Celebration of Life service for Freddy will be Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:00 am at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. N. Jefferson Brewster officiating. There will be a visitation Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will be in Young's United Methodist Church Cemetery in Shermans Dale.
