Florence A. "Flo" Newhouse

Florence A. Kazor Newhouse, age 78, of Carlisle died on Thursday, January 14, 2021 in the UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle Hospital with her family at her side.
She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 26, 1942 to the late John and Violet G. Windemaker Kazor, Sr.
Flo had worked for many years at the Pizza Hut here in Carlisle on High Street. She enjoyed working on puzzles, going to yard sales, antiquing and spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth I. Newhouse of Carlisle, son, Ed Newhouse, Carlisle, a daughter, Michelle L. Russell (husband Kurt), Shippensburg, two brothers, John Kazor, Jr., Carlisle, Michael Kazor, Mt. Holly Springs, daughter in law, Joan Brown Martin Newhouse, Landisburg, a grandson, Kurt Russell Jr. (fiancé Katie Pritt and their daughter, Isabella Mae), two step grandsons, Daniel Martin, Silver Springs, MD, and Benjamin Martin (wife Jen), Harrisburg and she was preceded in death by her son Kevin Mitchell Newhouse who passed on June 10, 2020.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 in the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Rd. Carlisle, PA with the Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. Private interment will be held at the convenience of her family. There will be a walk-through visitation at the funeral on Monday from 10:00AM until time of services. As mandated by Governor Wolf maximum capacity during gatherings is restricted and you may be asked to wait at the door when you arrive until the numbers allow for your entrance. Social distancing and masks are required.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions in Flo’s name be made to the American Cancer Society, 3211 North Front St., Harrisburg, PA 17110.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Rd., Carlisle, PA 17013.
