Flora M. Vogt

Flora M. Vogt, age 63, of Carlisle, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 after a 4-year battle with cancer.
She was born December 20, 1954 in Easton, PA to Sarah B. Horning and the late David W. Horning. She was the widow of George R. Vogt, Jr. who passed January 19, 2018.
Flora was a 1972 graduate of Phillipsburg High School, Phillipsburg, NJ. She was a self-employed notary Public since 1980 and an issuing tag agent for the Commonwealth of PA. She was a member of PA Association of Notaries and the National Notary Association. She was also a mobile notary for 20 years, visiting local nursing homes and worked for numerous title companies doing home refinances. Flora was a North Middleton Township Auditor for the past 20 years and served as an Auditor in Ross Township, Monroe County, PA for 11 years.
In addition to her mother, Flora is survived by: son, Jeffrey (wife Dianna) Vogt of Llano, TX; daughter, Sarah E. (husband Zachary Beidel) Vogt of Carlisle; five wonderful grandchildren; her brother, Harry H. (wife Susan) Horning of Manassas, VA; sisters, Patricia A. (husband Fred) Daughtery of Chuckey, TN and Kathleen (husband Fred) Pope of Upper Black Eddy, PA.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
