Esther Bouder Goodhart

Esther Bouder Goodhart 82, of Carlisle died on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at her home with her loving family at her side. She was born in Dickinson Twp., Carlisle on June 28, 1937 to the late Daniel W. and Flora Bell Shultz Bouder.
Esther had been employed at King’s Gap Environmental Center and Forest Park Health Care Center as a food handler. She was a member of Faith Chapel in Carlisle.
She was married 60 years to Arthur F. Goodhart. Her daughter Cindy wife of Rob Myers and son Dolan Goodhart and wife Liz were very special in her life. Her grandchildren Jerry, Tess, Derek, Gina and Shayna were a joy to her. She also has 7 great grandchildren. Essie is survived by sisters, Violet (Urie) Darhower and Millie (Ronnie) Raudabaugh and brother Clark (Marty) Bouder. Surviving also is a sister in law, Eloise Bouder. She was preceded in death by a brother, George Bouder and sister, Dot Carbaugh.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle with her pastor Rev. Michael J. Mayer D.D. officiating. There will be a viewing on Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM till time of services. Interment will be in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
