Elizabeth T. Trego

Elizabeth T. Trego, 86 of Carlisle, died Saturday December 4, 2010 in Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community, Carlisle.

Born January 19, 1924 in Carlisle, the daughter of the late Carlisle R. and Blanche Garland Todd and the widow of James P. Trego.

Mrs. Trego was formerly a member of the First United Church of Christ, Carlisle.  A longtime volunteer of the American Red Cross, Carlisle, she initiated a program to send care packages to troops during the Vietnam War.  Elizabeth was a member of the former Carlisle Hospital Ladies Auxiliary for many years.

Surviving are her son, Jim T. Trego, Hampden Twp., two nephews, Bobby, Bill and his wife Margie Todd and her best friend, Carol Trego, New Cumberland.

At Elizabeth’s request, there will be no viewing or service.

Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
