Doris Elaine Hurley

Doris "Elaine" Hurley, 75, of Carlisle, died Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.
She was born on March 17, 1939 in Boiling Springs to the late Brinton L. and Mary Cornman Minnich.
Elaine retired from the Wells Fargo Bank in 1998 and started her banking career at the CCNB Bank in Mt. Holly Springs while she was a senior in high school. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, the Loyal Bible Class of the church and the United Methodist Women, She was a member of NARFE, Chapter 373, Carlisle and a member of AARP. Elaine enjoyed making clothing, playing the piano for the Sunday school class and was very active in her Bible study at the church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Franklin D. "Jack' Hurley of Carlisle; a son, Brian K. Hurley and his companion Harold Getz of Carlisle; and a sister, Myrna F. Minnich of Carlisle. She was preceded by a brother, George Minnich.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 20, 2015 at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 647 Forge Road, Carlisle, PA 17015 with Rev. Daniel L. Dennis, her pastor, and Rev. Joseph Kugle officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Boiling Springs, PA. There will be a viewing Thursday evening, March 19, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, PA and also on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
