Doris Alice Morrison

Doris Alice Morrison, born August 28, 1932, passed away November 13, 2016 at her home in Carlisle, PA.
Doris is survived by her sons, John Martin and his wife Susan of New Bern, NC, Joseph Martin and his wife Sherry of Reeders, PA and Warren Madden and his wife Nancy of Whitehall, PA; step son, Larry Morrison and his wife Charene of Boiling Springs, PA; two step daughters, Beverly Barrick and her husband Roy of Carlisle, PA and Denise Mumma and husband James of Greenville, NC; along with eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her four brothers and loving husband, Russell Morrison.
Doris had great love for her family and friends. She enjoyed working with her husband, Russell, in their car sales business in Carlisle, worshiping in church, audio books, making the best apple dumplings for her family, flea markets, traveling and her trips with Russell to Florida for the winter months. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Joseph L. Kugle officiating. Interment will follow at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. A public viewing will be held from 7:00-9:00 PM on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the funeral home.
