Diane C. Lloyd

Diane C. “Dinny” Lloyd, 82, of Newville, passed away while surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 22, 2018 in her home.
She was born October 1, 1936 in Buffalo, NY to the late Henry J. and Dorothy E. (Lockhart) Miller.
Dinny was a graduate of St. Anthony’s High School, Washington DC and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Carlisle. She loved family gatherings and dedicated her life to her family and raising her children.
Diane is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Patrick P. Lloyd of Newville; five sons, Mark (wife Kathleen) Lloyd of Maryland, Kevin (wife Melissa) Lloyd of Maryland, Philip (wife Vicki) Lloyd of Newville, Christopher (wife Joyce) of Delaware, and Russell (wife Denise) Lloyd of Virginia; eleven grandchildren, Andrew (wife Missy) Lloyd of Maryland, Nathan Lloyd of Maryland, Justin Lloyd of Illinois, Megan Lloyd of Maryland, Caitlin Lloyd of Newville, Ian Lloyd of Newville, Colin Lloyd of Newville, Evan Lloyd of Newville, Erin Thomas of Maryland, Emily Lloyd of Virginia, and Ally Lloyd of Virginia; and three great-grandchildren, Rylie Cohick, Hailey Garrish and Jackson Garrish. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Marilyn Stonestreet.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Drive Carlisle, PA 17015 with Rev. Joshua Cavender as celebrant. Burial will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. A viewing will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013.
