Denita Lynne Adams

Denita Lynne Adams, 55, of Carlisle died Feb. 20, 2012, at her home.

Born March 25, 1956, in Carlisle, she was the daughter of Veda J. Clegg Adams, Carlisle, and the late Kenneth J. Adams.

Denita retired from New Cumberland Army Depot after 35 years of service. She was a member of VFW 477, AMVETS 247, American Legion 101 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1299, all of Carlisle, and the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a brother, Stanley Adams, and a sister, Debra Adams, both of Carlisle; a niece, Jill Beam; and a great-nephew, Zachary Beam.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday March 4, 2012 in the Lighthouse Church of God, 910 Calvary Road, Carlisle.
