Dean A. Snyder

Dean A. Snyder, 55 of Carlisle, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday December 11, 2010 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
            Born October 6, 1955 in Carlisle, a son of the late Cloyd and Mary Greegor Snyder.
Dean was a 1974 graduate of Carlisle High School.  Mr. Snyder was employed by the former Capital Products and the former A & W Auto Parts.  He was a member of the Bible Believers Baptist Church, Newport where he was a former Sunday school teacher and teen camp leader.  Dean enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.  He was known for his peanut butter fudge and homemade sauerkraut, his real love was his family.
Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Kimberly Snyder, two daughters, Angie Smith and her husband Terry, Shippensburg and Jennifer Tran and her husband Phong, Mt. Holly Springs, two brothers, Kenneth L. Snyder and his wife Kathy, Carlisle and Larry Snyder and his wife Diane, Carlisle, a sister-in-law, Sandra Snyder, Carlisle and four grandchildren, Benjamin, Rachel, Rebecca Smith and Michael Tran.  He was preceded in death by a brother Robert Snyder.
            Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday, December 16, 2010 in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with the Pastor David Bard officiating.  Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.  There will be a viewing from 10:00 am Thursday until the time of the service in the funeral home.
