Darlene F. Kerch

Darlene F. Kerch, 71, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at UMPC Harrisburg.
She was born January 21, 1949 in Carlisle to the late William and Florence (Bricker) Ege and was the widow of David Kerch.
Darlene enjoyed and embraced living life in the country. She kept a very neat house and property, grew beautiful flowers, tended to her garden, was an excellent cook, and provided great care for her daughter. Darlene was a quilter, she sold her creations on consignment in Lancaster and Gettysburg. She was a very kind and compassionate person, she was happy to have cared for her mother near the end of her life.
Darlene is survived by her daughter, Christina (husband Michael) McAlister of Boiling Springs; and her aunt, Catherine Calaman of Boiling Springs. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Derwood Ege.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Trindle Spring Cemetery.
