Danielle Nicole "Dani" Gibb

Danielle Nicole "Dani" Gibb, age 25, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
She was born on February 5, 1991 in Harrisburg to Douglas L. and Catherine M. Monroe Gibb of Carlisle.
Dani was a 2009 graduate of Big Spring High School and a 2013 graduate of Lock Haven University with a Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education. Post-graduation she was a substitute teacher for Big Spring and South Middleton School Districts. She enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, shooting, kayaking and gardening. She especially enjoyed spending time with "her boys", Dan and her dog, Odee. Dani was a "free spirit" who will be remembered for her bright smile. She was a wonderful daughter, sister and companion and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her companion of six and a half years, Dan Erickson of Carlisle; a brother, Kyle Michael Gibb and his significant other, Erica Snelbaker of New Cumberland; paternal grandmother, Dolores Gibb of Carlisle; and maternal grandmother, Catherine Monroe of Carlisle. Dani was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Harold Gibb and maternal grandfather, Robert Monroe.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016 at The Meeting House, 1155 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, PA with Pastor Josh Crain officiating. Burial with be at Prospect Hill Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Formal attire is not required.
