Daniel B. Kelley, 62, of Shermansdale, died Sunday, June 26, 2011 at his home.
Born December 30, 1948 in New Castle, he was a son of the late Merle and Mildred Steinard Kelley.
He was employed as a diesel mechanic for McClean Trucking and Carolina Freight. Also ran a garage for Keen Leasing for ten years. He worked for A. Costa Sales and Marketing brokered to Giant Foods. He was a member of the Elks BPO Lodge, New Castle for more than 40 years and a member of the Carlisle Fish and Game. Daniel was a veteran of the US Army, who served during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife of twelve years, Judy Bellon Kelley of Shermansdale; five brothers: Gary Kelley of New Castle, Larry Kelley of Washington, PA, Jim Kelley of New Castle, Robert Kelley of Wooster, OH and William Kelley of Decatur, AL, and eight nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2011 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 811 Shermans Valley Road, New Bloomfield with Rev. Robert F. Sharman as celebrant. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the church.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
