Dale Alan Bowman

Dale Alan Bowman, 60, of Carlisle, died Monday, January 12, 2015 at his home.
Born August 4, 1954 in Lykens, he was a son of Owen Dale and Betty Jane Travitz Bowman.
He was an avid NASCAR fan and liked to build model cars.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife of thirty-six years, Linda Lou Bowman of Carlisle; five children: Susan Smuck of Little River, SC, Alan Bowman of Mifflintown, Elizabeth Bowman of Shippensburg, Andrew Bowman of Troy and Guy Bowman of Mifflintown; one sister, Deb Straub of Lykens; one brother, Robert Bowman of Halifax; two grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. A viewing will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
