Clark W. Ferguson, Jr., 75, of Spring Grove, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at the York Hospital.
He was born January 4, 1948, in Bedford to the late Clark W. Sr. and Jeanette (Crissey) Ferguson. Jr. was the widower of Joyce L. (Foor) Ferguson to whom he was married for 44 years before she passed in April of 2023.
Jr. was formerly employed by Hedstrom where he made bicycles, swing sets, and trampolines. For most of his life he was a self-employed contractor. Jr. enjoyed traveling with his late wife, especially out west and to Las Vegas. His wife was the love of his life, and he would often spoil her with Krispy Kreme doughnuts, jewelry, or anything else she may have been interested in. Jr. watched westerns, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy when he was relaxing, and it was almost always with a good cup of coffee.
He is survived by three children, Kim (husband Anthony) Soistman of Hanover, Kevin Ferguson of Bedford, and Anita Collins of Minnesota; six grandchildren, Cody Dillon of Hanover, Ashley Ferguson of Bedford, Sydney Ferguson of Bedford, Missy (husband Shawn) Hare of Glenville, Megan (husband Eric) Walker of Hanover, and AJ (wife Jamie) Soistman of Spring Grove; nine great-grandchildren, Korryn, Aden, Jacob, Kohen, Kamden, Nehemiah, Ella, Everleigh, and Eli; one sister, Betty Miller (significant other Jim Claycomb) of Bedford; three brothers, Leonard “Mick” Ferguson of Bedford, Donald “Gabby” (wife Nancy) Ferguson of Schellsburg, and Ron (wife Nadine) Ferguson of Schellsburg; and one sister-in-law, Sue Ferguson of Bedford. In addition to his wife and his parents, Jr. was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Jaxson Dillon; and three brothers, David Ferguson, Bernard Turk Ferguson, and Dale Ferguson.
