Chris E. Lopienski

Chris E. Lopienski, age 59, of Mechanicsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at his home.
He was born October 12, 1958 in Akron, OH to the late Joseph and Esther (Augustynovich) Lopienski.
Chris was a graduate of the University of Dayton with a BS in Business Administration where he was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. He was a retired sales consultant for many medical and surgical supply companies. He was an avid golfer and a socialite to many of his friends and colleagues. Chris attended Mass at St. Patrick Cathedral in Harrisburg. His three sons meant the most to him and he will be missed by them and his loving family.
He is survived by: his three sons, Jonathan J. (wife Erica) Lopienski of Fayetteville, NC, Gregory S. Lopienski of Phoenix, AZ and Benjamin M. Lopienski of Prescott, AZ; two brothers, Thomas Lopienski and Timothy Lopienski; two sisters, Cathy Lopienski and Teresa Lopienski-Widdecombe; and niece, Chelsie Lopienski; two nephews, Dwayne (wife Lindsay) Reese and Pierce Widdecombe; and extended family, Cora (and husband Marc) Dion and the Augustynovich families.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions made to Alcoholics Anonymous, 1251 S. 19th Street, Suite C, Harrisburg, PA 17104.
