Cheryl A. Barrick

Cheryl A. Barrick, 65, of Shippensburg, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at WellSpan York Hospital.

She was born January 6, 1958, in Detroit, MI to the late Harold and Dorothy (Cronin) Henry.

Cheryl was a fun-loving and free as a bird. She loved her family and was always sure to put them first. Cheryl enjoyed reading, drawing, playing cards, camping, craft projects, working puzzles, shooting pool, and listening to rock and roll. She was employed by Giant Foods for 21 years in various positions before her eventual retirement.

Cheryl is survived by one son, Thai D. (wife Amber) Barrick of Newville; one daughter, Lynda J. (husband Chuck) Morrison of Shermans Dale; her ex-husband, Robert A. (wife Beverly) Barrick Jr. of Shippensburg; five grandchildren, Samantha Morrison, Taylor Staller, Mason Morrison, Hailey Barrick, and Kamron Barrick; three great-grandchildren, Gracelyn Staller, Gwendalyn Morrison, and Kambryn Mitchell; and her fourth great-grandchild, Kendayl Morrison was expected any day.

A celebration of Cheryl’s life will be held at a later date.
