Charles W. "C.W." Wilson

Charles W. "C.W." Wilson, 77, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center, with his family by his side.
He was born July 7, 1938 in Tichnor, AR to the late Frank and Esther Clark Wilson.
C.W. was a retired owner operator of a computer business. Charles was a peacetime veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Soaring Society of America and American Mensa. C.W. was a certified pilot and a "Renaissance Man". He also enjoyed building and flying experimental aircraft. C.W. and his wife Marilyn enjoyed traveling extensively.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Marilyn R. Wilson of Carlisle; a son, Marcus A. Wilson of Carlisle; a daughter, Lisa B. Wilson of San Antonio, TX; four sisters, Shirley Bowman, Eloise Bird, Penny Ray and Sue Davis all of Camden, AR; three step-sons, Dan Miles, David S. Miles and Scott Wells; a step- daughter, Cheryl Arechiga; and three grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services. Interment will be private.
