Charles R. "Chub" Cornman

Charles R. “Chub” Cornman, age 85, of Carlisle, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Church of God Home.
He was born October 5, 1931 in Carlisle to the late Ray S. and Mary (Boyd) Cornman.
Charles is survived by: his wife of 66 years, Shirley (Dunbar) Cornman of Carlisle; a son, Ray C. (and wife Diane) Cornman of Carlisle; two daughters, Nancy (and husband Cleon) Detweiler of Newville and Sandy (and husband Skip) Wagner of New Bloomfield; daughter-in-law, Sandy Cornman; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a son, R. Jake Cornman.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Church of God Home Chapel, 801 N. Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
