Charles M. Ewan

Charles “Snuffâ€Â M. Ewan, 58 of Newville died Wednesday, August 16, 2011 at his home.
Born September 17, 1952 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late William Ewan and Evelyn Sollenberger Ewan Osler.
He was employed by G. S. Electric. He was a member and volunteer for the Salvation Army, Chambersburg. Charles was a member of the NRA, National Hunting Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and planting trees. He was an avid Steelers fan.
Surviving are his companion of 31 years, Karen Marston of Newville, two brothers, Richard L. Ewan of Chambersburg and Daryl Ewan of Amberson, two sisters, Theresa Wright of Orman Beach, FL, and Cheryl Gardner of Chambersburg, four nephews and three nieces.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the Salvation Army, 159 Lincoln Way W, Chambersburg, with Majors Duane Harris and Kim Harris officiating.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
