Charles L. "Chuck" Buczeskie

Charles L. "Chuck" Buczeskie, 75, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2015 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
He was born on August 6, 1939 in Shamokin to the late Alphonse and Harriet Reed Buczeskie.
Chuck worked for 30 years for the former McCoy Electronics (Vectron) in Mt. Holly Springs and left in the position of Filter Engineer. He also retired from the PA Department of Transportation. He was a Navy veteran, serving abroad during the Beirut, Lebanon crisis. He was a life member of the Carlisle VFW Post 477, a member of Carlisle Moose Lodge #761, where he had been an officer and was a former member of many of the clubs in the Carlisle area. He was a member of the Chapel Hill United Church of Christ in Camp Hill. Chuck enjoyed working on computers and watching NASCAR, but most of all, he loved the time he spent with his grandchildren, Ramsey and Skylar.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Catherine E. Donohue Buczeskie of Carlisle; two sons, Charles E. Buczeskie (and his companion Donna Barnes) of Chambersburg and Edward J. (and wife Nancy) Buczeskie and their two children, Ramsey and Skylar of Shermans Dale; a sister, Mary Buczeskie of Altoona; and a brother, Robert (and wife Irene) Buczeskie of Shamokin. He was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Buczeskie and a sister, Yvonne Dobson.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Chapel Hill United Church of Christ, 701 Poplar Church Road, Camp Hill, PA with Rev. J. William Schiller officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be a visitation at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
