Carla J. Jones

Carla Jean Jones, 61, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021, at UPMC West Shore Hospital.
She was born September 21, 1960, in Harrisburg to the late William Robert and Shirley Louise (Thornton) Jones.
Carla was employed by Fry Communications for many years before her eventual retirement. She loved Jesus and was a faithful prayer warrior and encourager to all those she knew. Her love of family, friends, church congregation and her cats Marty and Penny had no limits or boundaries.
Carla is survived by three siblings, William Harold Jones of Mechanicsburg, Lori Jones Koons of Minneola, FL, and Barry Alan Jones of Halifax; six nephews, Garrett Shover, Jordan Jones, Dustin Jones, Gavin Jones, Ryan Koons, and Robert Kincaid; two nieces Jessica Koons and Autumn Jones who is also her Goddaughter; and her beloved feline companion, Penny. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Eugene Jones; one nephew, Dillon Jones; her grandmother, Naomi Thornton Windemaker; and her great-grandmother, Ruth Elenora Hoffman.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at New Life Community Church, 64 E. North Street Carlisle, PA 17013 with Pastor Ryan Brown officiating. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013 to help defray the funeral costs.
