Barry Lee Bell

Barry Lee Bell, age 67, of Elliottsburg, PA passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Hershey Medical Center.
He was born February 6, 1951 in Carlisle, PA the son of the late Gale Bell and Geraldine Myers Bell. He married Peggy Miller. She preceded him in death September 22, 2013.
He was a member of the Carlisle Eagles. He enjoyed transporting the Amish, loved swimming and going shopping as well as eating. He had a “Heart of Gold” and would help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed.
Barry is survived by his daughter: Carleen Bell of Loysville, PA, a brother: Ronald Bell and his wife, Wendi of Elliottsburg, PA, a step-son; Jeffrey Swartz, of Indiana, three grandchildren: Khia Firestone, Breeanah Turner and Neryah Turner all of Loysville, PA and three step-grandchildren: Tyler Swartz of Indiana, Ashley Swartz of New Bloomfield, PA and Hillary Swartz of Chambersburg, PA.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 11:00 am at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA 17013.
Interment will be in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle, PA. There will be a viewing at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of service.
