Barbara A. Rovenolt

Barbara A. Rovenolt, age 75, of Lock Haven, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Susque-View Home.
She was born June 25, 1942 in Mechanicsburg to the late Donald M. and Marion F. (Peterman) Cohick.
Barbara was a 1960 graduate of Donegal High School, Mount Joy, PA. Barbara was strong in her Christian faith. Suffering from mental illness at an early age, she pushed through life the best she could. Her greatest happiness and source of pride was her son John. She loved cooking, embroidery and reading. Despite her struggles in life, she was quite intelligent and more than anything enjoyed a lively conversation. She had an extremely giving spirit and a happy heart. With the very little she had, she was consistently wanting to do and give to others. She was loved and will be missed.
She is survived by: her son, John Andrew Rovenolt of Norfolk, VA; a sister, Sandy Mansberger of New Cumberland; three nieces; and three nephews. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Noss.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2018 ay Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Chaplain Bradley Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
